The one with energizer 10km night race

The morning after the race. Lazying in bed, feeling perfectly fine, a lil bit tired. Went to bed at 3

Finished the race in 59 mins. Something that I should be proud of considering the hours of training I clocked in. Running event organisation is someting Malaysia can never quite get it right. Like last night race, getting from car park to the starting line is confusing, there's no distance marker and I don't understand why oh why running event organizer loves to make us walk at least half a km after the finishing line to get water, medal n food. DUMB!

Lordy, my legs are fine but right arm is still sore from the Wii on Friday night. I was on it for just 15 mins. Man, definitely need to work the upper body area...

The one with putrajaya night race

Last night was my first ever racing at night. Putrajaya night race 7.7km. It was a great turn out. 8000 over participants I heard.
Flagged off was at 9p.m. It was really warm considering it rained earlier. I was quite consistent for the first 3km, then the usual bowel syndrome attacked. Iv already gone to the John earlier...time to focus on the other stuff. I'm glad it went away, was thinking of pulling away from the race if the "sakit perutness" won't stop.
Fatique started hitting me at 5km. And as usual I half walk n run. Saw Amir passed me n I cut him after. Then he passed me n I couldn't be bothered to run after him. I finished it in 50 mins, which is quite bad since iv bn running for quite a few.
Overall great turn out, organisation can be improved and I prefer racing at nite than in the morning now. Next, energizer night race, putrajaya, 10km.

Oh my lord..just came back from work. I'm all sticky n tired. Was at a property shoot in Bukit jelutong. Today is actually a part 2 of 2 days shoot. We covered mostly interior shot pretty much yesterday. It's scorching hot. They have like at least 10 a.c units in there but none of em work. Hahahahaah.

Today was supposed to be an exterior shot but man oh man as we prepped to shoot outdoor, it's raining. We waited for at least for an hour for the rain to stop but naaaah..it's not stopping...
AND AS A RESULT, TOMORROW CALL TIME IS AT 6 a freaking m! Meaning at the location by 6! Whoopedoo!

The long awaited apple tablet is finally here and it's called iPad! Hahahah. I know what a name. For a person who's been working on pad account, I have like 20 over jokes regarding the name. One of them is; apple is launching smaller version of iPad later this year. It's called iTampon! Hehe

But it's one amazing gadget I must say. Something that u have to have to snuggle with before bedtime. And don't think gonna change my iPhone for an iPad, unless it comes with wings. Hahahah!

M I fickle? Don't think so but I do admit I'm easily convinced!

As you guys know I booked a new Honda city last month, grade S. And after a lot (half an hour, that's quite a lot of sec in it) of consideration, I'm changing to grade E which is the premium spec. Price wise is rm5k difference but since I spread it to 108 months, monthly repayment difference is about rm58. So, called up my sa today n was told I have to wait till July now. Aiyaiyai! It's better late than never I guess. Shouldve thought this thing over even before I book it. I thot I did, k never mind. Better sakit hati now than later. Well the difference between s and e spec are mainly the accessories like paddle shift which I stil don't know what the hell for, steering audio control, speakers, fold over n reclining backseat, retractable side mirror etc. I just don't want to regret it later and think by adding another rm58 monthly I could get the stuff mentioned earlier. Billy bob, ur staying with me till july. Wait.. It's the other way around. Be kind to me billy!

My previous post has somewhat sparkd me to blog about this. It's true what they say that idea comes when u least expect it. Heh? True-ISH.

Anyway..when I was growing up where money is limited; iv bn told so many times if I want something I have to earn it. Like I remember when I really wanted to get my hands on the new smash hit magazine which cost about RM11 back then, I helpd my aunt selling "kuih" and save like whatever she gave me at the end of the day. I was kinda embarassed when my classmate saw me and stuff but nothing beats the joy of getting my hands on the mags! woohoo! I remember letting it wrapped in the plastic bag and only opened it after I cleaned up. I guess it's the process of how u get it is the highlight of everything.

Why I want to blog about this is because kids nowadays got it easy! I'm not blogging about this just because I had a rough time growing up and not because I'm comparing the life of the rich and poor. It's simply because IMHO they don't earn anything they got. Most kids in town nowadays carry a handphone (and not just any handphone) which I only have when I first started working. And partly I'm blaming the parents for this. I know a lot of ppl don't agree with me on this. Handphone is a necesity nowadays, I bet they'r gonna say that but that's not the point of this matter. It's how rather than what. It's really hard for the kids to be independant when parents are acting like the genie in a bottle. And I'm also not denying the fact that the time now is different than when I was a 10 y.o. The pace of life is rapidly changing and we are fed with what we could have on tvc every single day!

Well, Im not done with stressing my point here yet. Il be visiting this post sometime soon

There's an old saying of never mentioning about getting a new car
or selling it off while ur driving, cz it might just stoppd on u. I guess it's true cz that's what happening to me now! What happened was the odometer (is that the right spelling?) broke, rpm stays at 4 and it's jerky all the way
home jus now. This is not the first time it happened!

Man I love my Billy Bob, I do but enough is enough! I just spent almost 1k on maintenance alone in January. And I don't know how much tomorrow gonna cost me; sending it to workshop first thing in the morning. But looking back it was a good 7 years! and Billy Bob please get it through till I get my new ride...

I'm gonna have a proper good bye to Billy Bob when the time comes. Nothing in mind yet what m I gonna do. Hahahahha listen to me...m I a loser? I guess that's normal, feeling blue letting something go after 7 years. My first car which I bought with my own money! Hold on a sec...I bought everything with my own money. There u go! I guess growing up the hard way has taught me a lot of thing; to be satisfy with what u have, live within ur needs and know how to pick urself up when u fall!

Isn't technology supposed to make us live better and make it easier in this fast pace current life?

I just found out today I have to go back all the way to usj to make a bank draft. HOW STUPID IS THAT? Y usj? Cz that's where I opened the goddamn account. I was told the security is tighter now. Uh huh! Yeah right! So i'm thinking should I just close the one in usj and open up a new account near the office? But what about my current S.I? Jeezz! Isn't there any other easier like just punch this number, swipe that card n tick that box and everything will be settled and transfered? Isn't banking supposed to be easy? Y do I have to go back to freakin usj? Man, looks like there's no other way than to brave myself thru the usj jam. And they should be opened on Saturday and Sunday cz that's the day wr not working. They can close the other days for all I care! Well maybe not. Or maybe they can have staff that's working on shift. Like weekly shift Yeah! It should be like that. So normal ppl like us who's slaving away and not seeing daylight can do our banking in the weekend. And my problem will be solved, and I can blog about other stuff LOL!

It's been awhile..not that long, 2 weeks to be exact..

I'm waiting patiently stil for my new ride. Just bought the car reg. No the other day, it's gonna be awesome n quite personal. Can't believe it I can be so bloody excited over car reg. no. Hahahah. How old am I? 5? Yeah i'm acting that age mostly. Ask my mum. She would say yes wout missing a heartbeat. Well, first thing first i'm gonna pimpin and lickin my ride good. Gettin a locktech (brake paddle lock), coil mat with Honda emblem (sweet!), tint (whatever ken ken uptown got in store for me) and pps (paint protection spray). Been following this useful new Honda city forum over lowyatt.net forum under the fast n furious section. Really neat! And friendly ppl...All I gotta do now is wait. Zul, my honda sa said il get it next month or early may. Oh well...

Me been running vigorously (or trying to) but rain has been intervening in my routine lately. It's kinda sucks! and I have my first 11km run since iv stopped running in 2 weeks time. Must push myself harder. Stil can't run up them hills. That's crap! n smoking is not helping.

The search for my Billy bob has finally come to an end when I paid booking fees for the sexy the-all-new Honda city yesterday. I'm stil excited! Let's cross fingers, hoping loan process etc runs smoothly. This will be my sec biggest purchase after my Parkville (I refuse to call it park villa).

I'm getting the 's' grade, the lower end model. And polished metal metallic color a.k.a dark grey. Probably have to wait til end April/early May.

And now the question is, should I tint the car now or should I wait? Hmmmm...

Battle of the Sexy Beast continues

Just came back from test drive sx4 n Honda city. Il let u guys know my experience test driving this 2 sexy beast! And if u guys expecting review of the engines n shit, FORGETIT! Me know shit bout engines

3 o'clock when I arrived at Suzuki Bangsar showroom. The girl that I made an appointment with wasn't there. She's on leave, I was told later. While waiting for tash I went to snoop around sx4. It's like Monet, only nice from far. Well in my humble opinion at least. Exterior is sturdy, impressive and CUTE. Interior is a different case altogether. It looks very plasticky and toy like. It's quite compact. I was told by the girl I made appointment with that sx4 is iPod compatible but guess what? IT'S NOT! Well, not iPod ready at least. That's quite misleading. And all this while I was snooping around, the sa was behind me n din say anything. He doesn't know how to sell! Tash came n we went for a test drive. She drove. I was quite takut to drive at first. Helooo! Only driving my own car for 8 years n never anything els. It's quite a smooth ride. Then I took over the steering wheel. NERVOUS! First thing I saw was the side mirror. It's huge! Hehe. Which is good I suppose. Wow this piece of machine was beginning to impress me. It's really light! Drove around Bangsar for at least 10 mins. All in all i'd give 3 out of 5 for smooth ride and 0.5 for interior styling.

Then wr off to Honda showroom which is just a block away. The sa called me before wr arrived just like he said. Man, I think they need to to sumthing with the parking space at this area. Thank god, there's not many ppl. We were greeted by the sa. Very friendly chap. The new Honda city is parked impressively in front of the showroom. Black in colour. First look I thot it was a civic. WOW! It's bold, classy and defo looks sturdy. Sporty too!. N he showed me the interior. And that's when I made up my decision. It certainly carries that Honda classiness. Black carpet mat, dark blue-ish seat (water repellant). AND ITS IPOD READY. I brought my iPod along just for this purpose. The sa told me to test it out. He pretty much said to treat it like my own car. There's a lot of compartment to put ur knick knacks. I'm luvin the velvety seat stil. The backseat is really spacious. Ample headroom and comfortable leg space. We went inside the showroom to talk $$! Meanwhile tash is impressed by the new jazz. Luvin the turqoise colour on jazz stil, tash! The sa showed me the new interest loan rate from the bank. It's even lower now. Outside it started to rain. They offered me extra rm500 discount and smart tag with rm50 top up. NOICE! What sx4 sa offered me was tshirt n umbrella. Haha. It's time for a test drive. My heart was thumping. The rain made me even more nervous. But the sa guy was really accommodating and made sure i'm comfortable for the ride. It's not as light as sx4s but defo sturdier. It's really smooth and can't hear the engine whirring or whatsoever. Oh anyway, I test drove grade e which is the higher spec with paddle shift and audio control on the steering wheel. And tevin Campbell is blasting away from my iPod. Tasha said the backseat is so spacious, she had to move forward to hear me n the sa spoke. I did tekan minyak for a bit around hartamas area for testing purposes. Vroooooommm! Great! No jerky, nuthin! Unlike my billy bob! (luvin u stil billy bob). Eh wait, one thing I noticed there's no wiper at the back. Should I be worried? And I think I adjusted the seat too high, at one point my feet was dangling! Hahaha. All in all i'd give 2.5 out of 5 for smooth driving and 3.5 for interior styling.

Tasha later decided to give it a go at the jazz. It's really a cute n nice car but waaay out of my budget.

So I guess pretty much, u guys know now which sexy beast i'm gonna get.

Suzuki sx4 crossover or the new Honda city?

I guess it's time for me to change my Billy Bob (that's what I call my car). I try not to change car by all means with starting to pay house loan instalment next year and what not but jeeeezz...can't go up Damansara hills every morning to work is pretty bad!

Did a little research, sx4 price is a bit on the steep side but the design is amazing and kinda cute. But one thing that concern me tho is the boot space. That's gonna be a major problem when going back to BP. My beloved mum LUVESSSS to angkut all the thing she couldv when at going travelling. Ok that's one. Two, it's 1.6, so I guess fuel consumption won't be as hot as city.

The new Honda city is kinda ok with the design bit even tho I'm not too sure with the grille design. It looks too much like optimus prime. Side profile is devilishly looking good, the back ... ERKKK! Economic fuel consumption would probably what sell me the car and oh the boot space. Oh have I mentioned both cars are compatible with iPod. WOOHOO!

Ok I guess I'm gonna have to make a lil visit to Honda showroom after test driving sx4...

Saturday Aug 9 08.

We were suppsoed to go out at 12ish but ended up arriving at sunway Pyramid at 2! haha. with the wrong u-turning at wrong apt, im grateful i was be able to pick amy up. Lord, how m i gonna move to Puchong in 2 years time? haha. Wow is all i can say about the new Sunway pyramid or more like the new wing of sunway Pyramid. THE TOILET. I LUV IT! They have like different different colors for the toilets. Red toilet, blue toilet etc. I like the red room, very tres tres chic! theyr really revamping the place. But they cant revamp the crowd, can they? haha.

Ouuu..we makand at this one balinese restaurant called Ole-ole Bali. YUMMSSS! i cant remember the name of the dish i had but its like rice with muttons with other side dishes. its absolutely scrumptious. With that price, its better be! hehe. The atmosphere is balinese (need i say more?), decor etc. Well, u know what im talking about by looking at the fabulous piccies here:

After lunch..we went strolling in the NEW sunway Pyramid. I ended up buying more stuff when i vowed not to make any more purchases this month! No shopping for me next month.

So, at around 5.30 we left to puchong. the traffic was ok, its saturday so i think most of puchongites stayin at home or do whatever theyr doing on Saturday! I missed the wrong flyover so that took us to the other side of Bukit Puchong. I freaked out at first but when i saw Bukit Hitam office, i know i was at the right area.

oh! oh! i was super excited to see my parkville. the construction is really pickin up! Major construction goin on the 1st phase. I cant really see what progress theyr at my house because of the hoarding. But by looking at things, i have the feeling its gonna be ready before Oct 2012. DANG IT! I need to save more money for reno, thats all.

On the way back we made a tiny visit to Ametis Terrace, the neighboring property. its pretty! well with the kind of price theyr paying..i think theyv got what theyr paying for. mmm..but i dont quite like the design for Classic, its a bit too brown for my taste. They shouldv carried the same orange to accentuate the lower area (facade for the ground floor). between Classic and Contempo, i would prefer Contempo both for the design and lay out. Oh sorry, Contempo and Classic are the names for the design in Ametis Terrace. Both design comes with water feature in front (back mebe?) of the house.

Gawd..it was tiring but we had fun.

ok, its been awhile, in this post im gonna catch up with my blog and alternate it with ma amah-zing photos. i really have to start updatin this blog frequently.

it has been what? 5..6 months since my last trip to perhentian? wow..it has been that long since i last updated my GOBBLOG (haha). Nuthing much has been happening since, close friend just got married, work has been ok-ish...bla..bla..bla...

oh! oh! i got a new gadget! iphone 16gb. Got it in March, the best ever (got scratches all over d). Its true what they say, JESUS OF ALL PHONES. waiting for the latest installer before i can update to the latest firmware. IM LUVIN IT!!

today, i just heard david archuleta's single "crush" on the radio here in Malaysia. Im so excited, hope that kid make it big. HE SHOULDVE WON!

Work has been pretty quiet this few weeks, i hope its not a sign im gonna get fired or anything. Ppl from work, if ur reading this, I DO HAVE WORK K..ITS NOT LIKE IM SKYVING OR ANYTHING...and i write this blog after office hour (haha..pretty defensive aye)

and im stil pretty excited with my parkville. Its gorgeous! im gonna make a little trip down puchong (i hope i wont get lost) this weekend. Phew, the thought of driving there has made me tired. Hope they have cekap highway in 2 years time. haha. NOT!!

truly paradise on earth

i have just been to heaven on earth or some ppl called it as Small Perhentian Island in Terengganu. ITS TOTALLY AWESOME!! We went there by bus on wednesday night. the bus was at 9.30 p.m and arrived in Besut, Terengganu at 4.30a.m in the morning. We took the earliest boat ride (thanx to our mr boat man, KAMAL) to the island at like 6 in the morning. the journey was new to all of us well, most of us. ITS REALLY BUMPY cz the wave was quite choppy but it was fun nonetheless. The view was amazing. Sunrise. Crystal clear turqoise water. What els do u want right? ITS TOTALLY HEAVEN ON EARTH!!

We arrived at our chalet, Lily Chalet at 7 and had to wait for 4 hours (yawn) till we can check in. While waiting we had scrumptious breakfast, me not really a breakfast person, so it has to be something to make me eat in the morning. the room is pretty ok, quite spacious and has a fridge. And the bathroom can fit at least 10 people in. haha. After settled in, we went to daniel's cafe and had lunch. The price is reasonable and the food is rather delicious.

At 2 Kamal pickd us up and our awesome trip had just started. We went snorkeling at 3 different spots, saw fishies, turtles and sharks. BUT I DIN SEE NO SHARK, hell no! me not going in, watch too much national geographic. Even tho its a vegetarian shark. Shark is always a shark! But the most awesome thing in this whole trip would be chilling out at ROMANTIC BEACH!! its indescribable. Its a private beach and the water is crystal clear!

Later that nite we had dinner at Panorama and called it an early nite. All of us were pretty pooped!

The next day started as early as 8 in the morning. We went snorkeling and island hopping, We went to Redang, Lang tengah and another island which i cant remember what its called. me personally dont like Redang, its overtly commercialised and the crowd aint that happening. More swimming with fishies and checking out corals.

We went back at around 6 and had dinner at around 9. We adjourned to Palm trees for some fun. Its just our luck cz they had full moon party that nite with bon fire and everything. MAJOR HAWTNESS!!

The next morning i woke up with this severe headache for sum obvious reason. We headed to the beach and chilled out for the whole day. Its really sad to say good bye to the island but oh well, back to reality as amy would say it.

OMG...iv finally did it after three years of looking the right place to buy and to stay.

Its Parkville Townhouses by Bukit Hitam Development in haha..bandar bukit puchong 2. I was never in a million years imagined myself staying in puchong but with that price and nicely designed exterior, i fell in love straight away.

How i stumbled upon this property kinda accidental, i was reading 1 of the property reviews in property blogspot when i saw the review about this project. No photos of the development but i found a link and 1 of the commentators is kindly enough to scan the brochure and I SAW THE PIXS. Its prettyyyyyyy..and love at first sight! the next day straight away, accompanied by my girls (eileen and pam), we drove to puchong. After 20 turns and u-turns we arrived. Its fated, its prettier than the pixs...It has that australian design thingy to it (the exterior) and the lay out (the upper unit) is pretty cozy, homely and unusual than ur normal landed property. We drove to the sales office in a storm and we were drenched wet and talked to the sales person. They had 3 more units from the first phase with VERY attractive price. Believe me after scouting more than 2 years, u cant get that kind of price for any other freehold and nicely g&g designed property.

I gave myself 1 day to think about it and after talking to the property gurus (Woei hern, Mike and others; thanx guys)...i decided to put in booking fees.

And yey..iv finally did it, sorting out my bank loan now. Its pretty scary but exciting at the same time. Oh its my biggest purchase ever.And finally now, I M FIT to buy a house. Looking back i think my financial trouble has really teached me a lesson and im better because of it.

yey! i finally own a digital camera..not just any digital camera (hehe..) but a sony cyber-shot dsc T2 (turquoise)..i was in luv with it when i first saw the camera in a window display in bangsar. I was contemplating for a month if i should get it, last nite i just decided to get it and right now its sitting nicely in front of me. Aaaaaaahhhh, im stil not done with the aah and the uhm....i wanted to get pink at first but its pretty kinda too gay (hahahhaha...). its an early xmas gift for myself. i know i deserve it.

But its quite a bummer cz the matching color case is not in the market yet, oh well..its probably be in within 1 or 2 weeks. I could live with that..

haaaaa...after half an hour i moved my furniture around situated at where they were. Now that izzi has more coverage in damansara perdana, i can get 100% signal strength everywhere in the house. I like this lay out better, easy to eat in front of telly, seems more balance and can monitor my downloading easier. Oh yea...this reminds me i really need to get Merry Maid to come and clean the house.

torrent cause internet to disconnect

iv bn having problem with my internet and i almost threw the device into the longkang behind my house. A month ago i subscribed to iZZI (wireless broadband) and it works ok for a couple of weeks before the nightmare started to happen. The connection went solid for an hour and it died after that. It went down hill after that, it disconnected every 5 minutes. I did everything i could think of, including moving my computer nearer to the window and all. And the antenna doesnt help either, it made it worse even. I didnt have any problem receiving good signal (signal strength 100%) so are the other people whos staying at the same block. I lend to ernie whos using pc and it works fine on his machine. So, i thought it could be the hardware problem but most of people i talked to said mac has the most straightforward setting for internet. 2 nights ago i decided to do a little test to let my internet run without opening any application and guess what? it went on the whole night without any disconnection till the next morning. Last night i tested opening each application with the internet on. Safari: OK, Adium: OK, iTUNES: OK and Transmission: went kong after 2 minutes. So i called Chiang (izzi's tecnician). He told me izzi throttles p2p and asked me to reset my transmission setting to this:

DOWNLOAD SPEED: less than 40kbps

UPLOAD SPEED: 50% of download speed

ACTIVE TORRENTS: 2

SEEDING: 1

Ill try this tonite and see if it works. Fingers crossed!

after a lot of trial and error iv finally get it to work, i capped it to 10 KB/s for upload rate. it seems to do the trick (its really not a trick actually). Except in the weekend, when i launched the torrent client, i still experience dc, caused by busy traffic.

its deepavali today...

and sigh! IM SICK. iv been coughing non stop since last friday. I guess the medicine didnt work..i went to see doc again and he bloody charged me for RM90 (thank god, its claimable), and i feel like im coughing out coals now..IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER. i hate coughing, dry cough esp. It feels like a thousand blades cut ur throat everytimes u cough.

oh..i guess my internet connection is more stable right now, it's not disconnected (yet). It has been more than 2 hours now. Yipeeee!! i hope it stays that way, i was really close to smash things up and throw the device in the longkang behind my apt. I was like tearing my hair (haha..what hair?) out looking for the solution when its all the isp's problem. Should've informed your subsribers about the upgrading iZZI. And Cheang (iZZI's technician), its not the hardware's problem, its the ISP.

i guess ill rearrange my furniture on sunday after Ipoh. If im rajin, that is. haha. Since izzi's signal strength is excellent throughout the house, ill be moving back the computer desk next to the bed, and have the tv at its previous place.... and chi will be better.

its back...

my insomnia, sleepless night is back. cant believe it im stil up and alert at 5.30 in the morning. Tried to sleep for like 15 minutes but the endless tossing and turning just made it worse. Tried to watch tv but it didnt work either, i guess blogging is all i have now.

lets see, now i have 2(ish) blogs. i kinda like virb, simple layout, easy to navigate and blogspot is kinda difficult and not idiot proof (haha..), but i like my blogspot's title...whereas virb is just slash gbum. Kinda boring, aint it? Lets see how long m i gonna be on this one, blogspot that is..

Now that i cant sleep, shall i finish up my ciggie (till subuh azan, that is, sec last day of fasting month)? ok..ill have my third ciggie. sigh! ok..since we have all the time in the world, lets organize. Things to do:

1. haircut

2. get button for baju melayu (if anuar forgot or dont have time to get one)

3. pay fitrah

4. call ivan and let him know im going to mid valley to pick up the antenna since hes damn busy or avoiding me

my apt kinda look small now but its kinda grown on me. i can watch tv from the toilet which is a plus cz i go visit the john quite often (haha)..and i can lie down on the sofa while watching stuff from the comp. and the most important thing, my internet signal strength is much, much better. and i dont get dc either. back to apt, i really, really need to clean it or get the merry maids to come and clean it. After hari raya, that is.

panic is over

just called my sister, apparently according to the doctorS, he doesnt need an operation, it (the prostate) can be shrunk down with medicine. Thats a huge relief, and a big fat relief its not cancerous...but he has to take about 5 months to finish it....GOOD LORD!!

3 more days til hari raya. Its the most stressful pre hari raya so far..

out with the old, in with the new

darn it, i couldnt retreive my old username and password for the previous blog, hence IGOBBLOG. I like the name, its stupid and soooooo me. hahahah...

A lot of thing has happened eversince iv written last. Like my dad (this will be in a new post), me moving to a new place, buying computer and my everyday ever changing drama. Having a computer (the new silver imac..hehe..im stil psyched) at home, is sooooo convenient, a fact that a 2 year old nowadays has already established. And with my improved (cross finger!) internet connection, it made it a whole lot nicer...But give me 2 more months, ill bet it will be all scratchy and faulty. NO damn it, i dont wana jinx it.
